In pediatric practice, when donating blood for laboratory tests, there is often a problem of choice: “What blood taken from a vein or a finger better?”. The main difference between the blood from a finger and that from a vein is the chemical composition: blood from a vein is much more informative than that from a finger, richer in chemical composition, which means that the tests will be more accurate.
