Since 2021, the procedure for certification of medical workers with higher and secondary medical and pharmaceutical education is being replaced by the accreditation procedure. This makes significant adjustments to the system of professional development: all healthcare professionals should switch to continuing medical education. Instead of the traditional training once every five years in the amount of 144 hours, it is necessary to study annually throughout the entire working life. An important role in this is played by professional associations, whose task is to organize various educational events, participate in the development of regulatory documents regulating the work of medical personnel and work on professional literature.
